This arcade sports game is set in a magical world where broom-riding competitors face off in ancient arenas, cast spells and turn opponents into chickens. The main objective is to control a magical sphere that bounces around the arena and grows faster and larger over time; spells, power-ups and arena features also shape each match.
Single-player options include a story campaign and Trials, which can also be played cooperatively by two players. In Trials, players progress through a series of arenas, face acolytes and bosses, and choose a magical card after each completed challenge. Local multiplayer supports up to four players across seven modes, including team matches and Merlinball; additional content is unlocked with XP.
