A Western action platformer styled after classic Game Boy-era games, 2-bit Cowboy is set in a town where the player takes on the role of the new sheriff. The player explores large levels, tackles challenges, tracks down outlaws, and searches for hidden loot.
A cowboy or cowgirl can be selected and customized with hats, bandanas, masks, and other items. Activities include gambling in casinos, visiting saloons, riding a horse, taming a wild bull, and traveling through underground mines in a minecart.
