This collection combines the classic action RPGs Ys and Ys II, following swordsman Adol Christin as he travels to Esteria, where the arrival of monsters has forced the locals into hiding. His investigation draws him into the mystery of the ancient kingdom of Ys and its goddesses, whose history has largely been forgotten.
Adol attacks enemies by colliding with them, while the second game adds a magic system. In Ys II, he can also transform into a demon and speak with ordinary enemies. The collection offers four difficulty settings and a separate boss rush mode, along with a choice of character portrait styles and several soundtrack versions.
