Volgarr the Viking is a hardcore arcade platformer in which the Viking hero fights enemies and navigates deadly traps across a series of dangerous worlds. The game spans seven worlds and more than 30 maps, combining straightforward controls with demanding challenges and carefully tuned character movement.
The levels feature more than 40 types of enemies and traps, along with screen-filling bosses. Multiple routes through the game and several endings give the journey different paths, while progress depends on mastering each stage’s hazards and combat encounters.
