This football simulation follows the UEFA EURO 2008 qualifying campaign and final tournament. Rain and mud affect match conditions, while player ratings change in response to performance on the pitch. A separate penalty shoot-out mode focuses on the pressure of spot kicks, and goal celebrations can be chosen and controlled by the player.
In Captain Your Country, players create a footballer, progress through eight status levels, earn the captaincy and lead their national team. The online Battle of the Nations awards status points to players and their countries, with results reflected on leaderboards. EURO Online Knockout Draw offers another online competition, with teams facing elimination in successive rounds.
