A tactical role-playing game set in the Gundam universe, where a fleet of robots and ships battles enemies across grid-based maps. The objective is to complete eight levels without losing the fleet. Destroying every enemy is not required, but certain enemy cruisers must be eliminated to advance.
When a robot is close to an opponent, it can attack from a distance or choose a riskier assault with stronger attacks. Combat shifts to separate scenes, where robots fight with a laser cannon or laser sword; battles against cruisers use a third-person view. A heavily armored boss appears on the third level.
