An arcade racing game about Formula One competition on the Fuji Speedway circuit. The player first completes a qualifying lap within a time limit, with the result determining the starting position among computer-controlled cars. The race that follows lasts several laps, and must be finished before time runs out; completing each lap grants extra time.
The car can briefly lose control after collisions, driving through puddles or taking turns too quickly. Leaving the track for the grass slows it down, while hitting a billboard causes a delay as a replacement car enters play. Points are awarded for overtaking other cars and for time remaining on the clock.
