A strategic card game about Anglo-Saxon earls competing for land and power in the late Anglo-Saxon period. Players take the roles of earls seeking to bring territories under their control and lay the foundations of what will become England.
Ortus Regni centers on closed decks that players build and customize before matches. Political maneuvering, diplomacy, and military force all play a part in the struggle for influence. The game also includes a tutorial and lets players save their decks.
