This role-playing game is set in Gameindustri, where girls personifying fictional game consoles take center stage. In Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution, the player runs a game company and gradually expands it with the goal of building a large enterprise.

Dungeons can be explored on a motorcycle, while battles use a four-character party system. Heartful Photo Mode lets players take pictures featuring manga-style expressions.
