A baseball sports game with a focus on controlling runners on the bases. On Command Baserunning displays base-running action in a picture-in-picture window and lets players direct runners with the right stick. Maximum Sliding allows runners to slide headfirst or feetfirst and adjust their approach to the base, while Baseburner Mode lets players take any at-bat from the perspective of any baserunner.
