In the first scene, the explorer swings from vine to vine. He then swims through a crocodile-infested river, surfacing for air and using a knife to attack crocodiles when their mouths are closed. On a hill, the player must jump over or duck under boulders; in the final scene, the explorer evades cannibals to reach the woman. Further playthroughs add obstacles, including monkeys on the vines and spears thrown by a cannibal.
