An arcade action game with beat ’em up elements, Ghostbusters follows a team clearing New York City of ghosts and confronting an evil presence in a haunted tower. The player builds a franchise in a local firehouse, hires Ghostbusters, and sends them on missions around the city.
Captured ghosts can be studied, while earnings and experiments help improve equipment and unlock new tactics. In the tower, the team advances floor by floor, breaks through slime barriers, fights floor bosses, and captures the resident ghosts.
