Arcade races through the magical world of Gensokyo from Touhou Project begin when Reimu Hakurei and her friend Marisa Kirisame spot a stranger on a racetrack, as the girls’ spirit energy starts to weaken. Characters race in pairs, with one acting as the board and the other as the rider, and players can switch between them. Courses span different parts of Gensokyo, and races can take place on walls, ceilings, cliffs, and in the air.
Spell cards can disrupt opponents, provide acceleration, or offer defense, while Last Words deliver powerful attacks. The campaign tells the game’s story, followed by a secret post-game episode. Online multiplayer offers competitive races alongside the single-player mode.
