An NHL-style hockey simulation combines fast-paced matches with improved player control and a revamped fighting system. Defensive play includes sliding poke checks and stick movement to challenge for loose pucks, while ESPN commentators Gary Thorne and Bill Clement call the on-ice action.
Alongside standard matches, the game features online leagues and multiplayer mini-games. Franchise mode offers deeper progression, and the Skybox contains more than 150 unlockables, including retro jerseys and outdoor locations.
