A top-down arcade action game that combines underground digging with exploration of 3D environments and battles against monsters. Players progress through 15 stages comprising more than 80 areas, digging tunnels and connecting fault lines to trap enemies.
Defeating a boss is required to advance to the next level. Combat makes use of weapons and environmental hazards such as rolling rocks, quicksand, and flowing lava; familiar foes Pooka and Fygar return alongside new bosses. The game can be played solo or with a friend over a wireless connection, and also includes minigames.
