Virtual Pinball is a pinball simulator that lets players use ready-made tables or design their own layouts with an in-game editor. It includes 29 preset tables, blueprint plans and ten user-created games, and supports matches for one to four players. Before a game, players can adjust its theme, the table background, difficulty, ball behavior and music.
Workshop Mode starts with an empty board, where up to 256 parts can be placed, including flippers, bumpers, walls, targets and tracks modeled on components of real pinball tables. The editor also allows changes to object placement, visual themes and ball speed. Each game begins with four balls, and holding the launch button determines the force of the shot.
