This first-person shooter follows heroes and villains whose stories unfold across different eras between 1935 and 2035. Their actions draw the attention of the TimeSplitters, beings from outside time and space who interfere with human history. The heroes must unite to face a common enemy.
The single-player campaign moves from ancient civilisations to futuristic settings, where players battle the TimeSplitters and alter the course of history. Multiplayer supports one to four players and includes modes such as deathmatch and capture the flag, with characters and weapons drawn from different eras. A map editor lets players create custom levels.
