This real-time strategy game with a science-fiction setting puts the player in command of a small squad, directing its members with precise orders. Corrin Webb, an ordinary cryptographer, is drawn into a confrontation with mercenaries tracking him in Santa Monica. A mysterious woman named Val helps him evade them and uncover the secrets guarded by his algorithm, Radial Lock.
The single-player campaign sends the squad on varied missions against enemies equipped with energy weapons and personal force fields. Orders can be given by voice or through standard controls, and the voice-command system allows players to customize command phrases as well as the names of units and locations. The story focuses on its characters and the hidden agendas surrounding Corrin’s algorithm.
