Switchcars

An arcade action racing game follows a teleportation experiment gone wrong, which opens rifts between dimensions and draws the attention of interdimensional time-whales. The protagonist must travel from 1950 to 2055, where a vehicle capable of saving humanity is waiting, while escaping the creatures in pursuit.

Players cross changing environments in cars, bicycles, buses, trains and other vehicles, choosing from more than 1,300 models with different properties. Vehicles can take damage, run out of fuel or get stuck, so they must be swapped regularly; experimental technology lets the protagonist store up to three vehicles and switch between them at any time. Each run uses a different arrangement of environments, while further settings, years and vehicles unlock as progress is made. Vehicles can also be upgraded.
