This strategy RPG follows a society of summoners tasked with maintaining balance between their world and the worlds of other races. Players choose one of two rookie summoners, Folth or Arca, and one of four possible partners known as Crosses. The choice affects dialogue and character reactions, allowing for up to eight playthroughs with different character combinations.
The summoners must unravel a plot that threatens the order protected by the Eucross. Battles use an adjustable isometric perspective, and the game combines 2D and 3D visuals.
