This third-person action game with horror and survival elements takes place in an open world after a massive zombie outbreak. A small group of survivors must band together to endure the crisis and rebuild their lives in an environment that changes over time.
The player chooses a location for a home base, sets up camp and fortifies it, then goes on raids to gather food and weapons. Rescuing other survivors is also part of the effort; they become playable characters, each with unique talents that benefit the group.
