This science-fiction shooter in the Star Wars universe follows a group of battle-hardened rogues and scoundrels assembled by Han Solo for secret Rebel Alliance operations against the Galactic Empire. The squad fights across the galaxy, from the Valley of the Sith on Korriban to a space battle amid the remains of Alderaan, undertaking sabotage, rescue, and retrieval missions.
Rather than using the class system found in earlier games in the series, the game lets players customize combatants by choosing their weapons, equipment, and abilities. Multiplayer battles support up to 16 players over the internet or eight through a wireless connection.

Au début, le jeu semblait quelque peu primitif. Il s'est avéré que cela semblait. Plus d'heures passées dessus, et on se rend compte que le jeu est vraiment bon. Selon les normes PSP, certainement.
Le combat est assez varié, il est possible de contrôler du matériel et des véhicules. Il y a aussi des batailles spatiales, et parfois elles sont encore plus intéressantes que les batailles à la surface des planètes. Il y a aussi suffisamment de cartes, voire plus qu'assez.
L'intrigue couvre les événements des épisodes originaux, donc tous (c'est-à-dire presque tous) les personnages emblématiques sont inclus. Il existe du multijoueur et des matchs rapides avec toute une variété de modes différents. La lutte pour les planètes et les systèmes est particulièrement intéressante. Сначала игра показалось какой-то примитивной. Оказалось, что показалось. Больше проведённых в ней часов, и осознаешь, что игра и впрямь хороша собой. По меркам PSP — уж точно.
Боёвка достаточно разнообразна, есть возможность управлять техникой и транспортом. Космические баталии тоже имеются, и порой они даже интереснее битв на поверхности планет. Карт тоже достаточно, даже более чем.
Сюжет охватывает события оригинальных эпизодов, так что все (т.е. почти все) культовые персонажи прилагаются. Есть мультиплеер, и быстрые матчи с целой вариацией различных режимов. Особый интерес вызывает борьба за планеты и системы. Там, выбрав сторону повстанцев или имперцев, оккупируем планеты, отбиваем чужие у врагов и защищаем свои.
