A turn-based strategy game in the god-game genre, Skyward Collapse casts the player as the Creator, tasked with keeping two warring factions in balance on the floating continent of Luminith. Both sides must survive and continue fighting until the Master calls the Creator home, but neither faction can be controlled directly.
The player builds settlements and creates gods, creatures, and artifacts from Greek and Norse mythology, shaping events through divine powers and the circumstances of the inhabitants’ lives. Threats range from bandit keeps to floods and guild strikes. The game features multiple difficulty levels, co-op for up to eight players, and unlockable buildings.
