SimCity Deluxe is a city-building strategy game in which the player develops a city as its mayor. The game offers seven cities inspired by famous locations around the world, each of which can be reshaped to suit the player's plans.
Scenarios set different challenges, including hosting the World Games and coping with a heat wave. Cities also face seasonal disasters and the possibility of a random meteor strike. Touch controls let the player alter the terrain by placing water, land, and trees.
