This post-apocalyptic Japanese role-playing game follows Serph, leader of the Embryon tribe, after his world disappears and he awakens in Nirvana, amid deserted streets and the silent remains of human statues. Rather than the promised land, he finds a new threat: guards from the Karma Temple identify him as an unauthorized Avatar Tuner and transform into demons.
To survive, Serph must devour others. The power of Atma is tied to his past in the Junkyard, where the Embryon fought a brutal war in the hope of ending their suffering. As he presses on, he seeks to discover what lies beyond Nirvana: paradise or a sea of blood-soaked corpses.
