A samurai role-playing game built around roguelike progression and permadeath. Players fight brutal, strategic katana duels and combine techniques from seven schools to create their own style. Choices are tracked by a three-axis morality system, while committing seppuku grants persistent bonuses. Some bosses can defeat the player in a single hit and are styled after kabuki actors; the historical artwork comes from the public domain.
