In a kingdom where medieval villages are giving way to structures of steel and steam, creatures of metal and flesh have begun to appear, while the magic that preserves the order of the universe is fading. The hero discovers a connection between these changes and a newfound ability to shapeshift. To stop the chaos, the hero must find an artifact and confront a madman before the magic disappears entirely.
The adventure involves battling new enemies, travelling to different worlds, and developing the hero’s abilities. Shapeshifting grants access to numerous powerful forms, which help reverse the paradox and prevent the destruction of both worlds.
