An action-adventure with fighting elements, Shenmue II continues Ryo Hazuki’s story as he arrives in Hong Kong to avenge his father’s death and uncover the truth behind the Phoenix Mirror. Its world is considerably larger than the one in the first Shenmue.
Players interact with a wide range of characters and gain the knowledge needed to pursue their mission through various activities. Encounters with the locals help move the search forward, though not everyone can be trusted.
