A first-person shooter set on twenty-second-century Earth, where a squad of super-soldiers moves against the dictator Sopot. Five years after the rebellion on Mars, Sopot has spent fifteen years oppressing the people of the Commonwealth and pursuing its unification with the neighboring United Republic. The player controls Alias, a demolitions expert and one of six members of an elite squad.
Missions combine firefights with stealth, puzzles, and action-oriented objectives. The squad uses specialized weapons, explosives, and vehicles, including a tank, a hover flyer, and a submarine. The Geo-Mod engine allows the environment’s geometry to be modified in real time, while combat style affects the squad’s karma and the ending.

La suite du premier Red Faction est un peu en deçà de l'original, mais reste jouable si vous êtes motivé.
L'intrigue est bonne ; je l'ai bien aimée. L'action se déroule désormais sur Terre, où des soldats améliorés se rebellent contre leur créateur. On y trouve quelques rebondissements intéressants qui s'intègrent parfaitement à cet opus. Autre point notable : les quatre fins, chacune ne différant que par la description des événements dans la même vidéo (ce qui ne plaira peut-être pas à tout le monde).
Le grand nombre d'armes maintient l'intérêt, et chacune est utilisée à son plein potentiel.
En revanche : la liberté et la destructibilité sont réduites. On ne peut plus entrer et sortir des véhicules à volonté. Désormais, on ne peut détruire que certains murs, et la destructibilité n'est plein… Lire en entier
Продолжение первой Red Faction немного слабее оригинала, но при желании можно пройти.
Сюжет неплохой, мне понравился. Действия теперь происходят на Земле, где улучшенные солдаты восстают против их создателя. Есть интересные повороты, которые отлично подходят для этой части. Ещё можно выделить наличие 4 концовок, отличающихся лишь описанием событий на одинаковом видеоролике (кому-то может не понравиться).
Большое количество оружия не даёт заскучать, каждое использовалось по максимуму.
Из минусов: свободы стало меньше, как и разрушаемости. Нельзя по желанию залезть в транспорт и вылезти из него. Теперь ломать можно только некоторые стены, а разрушаемость красуется лишь при миссиях с танком, когда при передвижении рушатся дома.
Музыка в первой части мне понравилась больше, но в этой ч… Lire en entier
