A strategy game about building and running a privately operated prison. The player starts with a low-security facility and develops it into a SuperMax, overseeing construction and daily operations while keeping prisoners under control and maintaining a profit.
Prison management includes setting security levels, food rations and recreation options, hiring guards, and keeping an eye on the budget. Prisoners can be assigned cleaning, maintenance and manual labour, while the player monitors escapes, contraband and illegal activity, and manages gangs and prisoner morale to prevent riots. The player also decides whether to release prisoners on parole, and can interrogate military prisoners for vital information and extra bonuses.
