A first-person real-time strategy game with RPG elements, No King No Kingdom focuses on building a kingdom and fighting hordes of monsters. The player establishes settlements and fortifications, gathers resources, recruits troops, and leads them into battle with direct control from the front lines.
Troops can be upgraded and new unit types unlocked, while magical creatures can be tamed for combat or used as mounts. The player can also take control of any unit and fight through its eyes. The world runs in real time, and customizable sandbox maps are generated for each game. Local co-op lets a second player gather resources, heal units, and join battles.
