MLB 2005 is a baseball simulation that lets players manage the lineup and choose different camera angles during play. Options include catcher, umpire and pitcher views, as well as zoomed and offset views behind home plate. Hot and cold zones can change based on performance at the plate and on the mound. Double switches allow a weaker hitter to be moved into the ninth spot in the batting order, while strike zones are scaled to each batter.
