Mission Control: NanoMech

This action-adventure with role-playing elements is set in a high-tech Mars base late in the 21st century. The player takes the role of a rover pilot delivering supplies and trying to rescue people trapped in a factory after the rogue artificial intelligence D-brain takes control of the facility and most of its robots. A dust storm threatens to cut off communications with the other bases.

Friendly robots assist the protagonist and provide a spacesuit that can be improved with nanotechnology. Puzzle-solving involves finding raw materials and scientists hiding in the factory; their clues help the player use nanomaterials and overcome obstacles. The robotic companions must be kept operational, while spacesuit upgrades are tied to the game’s increasing difficulty. The goal is to become strong enough to confront D-brain.
