A metroidvania styled after 1980s MSX games and a prequel to Ghost 1.0. Players explore rooms, fight mini-bosses, and find or buy equipment in shops. Mini-comics accompany the adventure.
The game includes editors for creating levels and characters, as well as a tileset editor for changing the look of maps. Players can watch friends play and interfere with their runs by strengthening enemies, placing fake platforms, or throwing objects at their characters. A leaderboard tracks speedruns.
