This stealth-action collection brings together three games from the Metal Gear Solid series in HD: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. In each, the player controls a secret agent undertaking solo missions in enemy territory, from military installations to jungles and active battlefields.
Gameplay centers on moving undetected and finding ways to avoid direct combat. The storylines are closely integrated with the gameplay and draw on themes connected to real-world social developments.
