March of the Eagles is a grand strategy game about the wars of the Napoleonic era, in which nations compete for dominance in Europe. Players lead a power, develop it and confront rivals across a historical topographic map of the continent.

Armies and fleets can be organized and directed through combat orders, while logistics and enemy supply lines shape military campaigns. A nation can expand through warfare and diplomacy, including the formation of coalitions. New technologies, military tactics and economic organization provide further ways to strengthen a power, and multiplayer matches support up to 32 players.
