This text adventure with puzzles sends a modern-day computer programmer on a journey through different eras. The hero is contacted by Father Time and tasked with finding nine treasures to thwart the evil Time Lords. Travel between eras is made possible by a grandfather clock that turns out to be a time machine in disguise.
Lords of Time features nine historical periods and eras, including the Ice Age, the age of dinosaurs, the Middle Ages and the future. The Time Lords’ interference creates anachronisms, such as cavemen living alongside dinosaurs. The player explores these settings and solves puzzles while searching for the treasures.
