An isometric helicopter action game with tactical and strategic elements, Jungle Strike is a direct sequel to Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf. Two adversaries, Ibn Kilbaba and drug lord Carlos Ortega, are plotting an attack on Washington, and a pilot must thwart their plans.
The player undertakes combat missions in a helicopter and occasionally controls other vehicles. The campaign begins with an attack on Washington, then moves to South America, where the pilot strikes Ortega’s forces and jungle strongholds. The game retains the previous installment’s core mechanics while expanding them with additional vehicles.
