Inspired by I Wanna Be the Guy fangames, this challenging roguelite platformer pits players against famous video game characters turned into cats in a contest to claim the title of “THE CAT.” Levels are generated from more than 2,000 community-made layouts, changing the obstacles, items, and enemies from run to run. The game includes adjustable difficulty, traps, and 12 bosses.
In solo mode, a run is limited to 100 lives; losing them all means starting over. Shops offer items, skills, and extra lives, while permanent upgrades can be purchased between runs. Races support up to eight players. Magic Tower, unlocked by beating the game on hard mode, combines puzzles and RPG elements as players climb the tower, defeat enemies, and manage their resources.
