Henry Halfhead is a sandbox adventure about Henry, an unusual character who can possess and control any nearby object. To handle everyday tasks, the player explores what objects can do and combines their abilities, becoming a knife to slice toast or a watering can to tend plants.
Progress unlocks new rooms and objects, while each level offers alternative solutions to challenges and additional story fragments to discover. In a fully voiced story narrated with humor, Henry faces the rules and obligations of adult life, loses curiosity about the world, and decides to change course and rediscover a playful approach to everyday life.
