This hacking simulator is set amid a technological singularity: computers have surpassed humanity in number and processing power, and an unexplained cause has triggered a worldwide economic and systemic crisis. The player takes the role of Brian Spencer, a programmer framed for a crime. He must uncover what is happening, stop computers from becoming the planet’s dominant species, and clear his name.
Players solve puzzles and examine code and fragments of information to complete objectives. Hacking is handled through a command console with more than 20 commands and tools. The game also includes an editor for creating custom levels.
