This 4X strategy game, based on the Eclipse: New Dawn for the Galaxy board game, centers on interstellar civilizations competing for control of the galaxy. Players lead one of seven species, explore star systems, research technologies and build spaceships while weighing their civilization’s strengths and weaknesses against the actions of its rivals.
Star systems, the technology tree and ship designs can be customized, and victory can be pursued through different strategies. A match supports up to six human players or AI opponents, and the game also features asynchronous multiplayer.
