Dynasty Tactics 2 is a historical strategy game centered on military campaigns and tactical battles. Characters from the first game return with new storylines, and Lu Bu joins the roster of playable characters.
The battle system builds on the original Tactics Linking System and introduces the Sequenced Strike System, allowing a single unit to launch an attack linked through up to ten Tactical Combos. New tactics can be learned at training camps. Players can also raise armies, acquire tactics for subordinate officers, and form alliances with other commanders.
