A real-time tactical strategy game about SWAT operations, Door Kickers puts the player in command of a team tasked with reaching hostages before criminals can harm them. The top-down view helps assess each situation and plan the squad’s actions.
Before a breach, the player selects equipment, entry points, and routes for the operatives, then coordinates their actions during the mission with a tactical pause. Non-linear levels allow for different approaches, while a mission editor and mission generator add more scenarios to play. The game includes both single-player and two-player online co-op.
