Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat is an action platformer that follows Donkey Kong through varied stages, from lava caves and stormy seas to a fortress occupied by ninja chimps. The player guides him past obstacles and collects bananas, chaining acrobatic moves in midair to earn bonus bananas at the end of each stage.
Donkey Kong also teams up with animal friends and faces rivals in boxing matches. Special monkeys found along the way offer tips or let players save their progress.
