This futuristic action platformer follows a new Cargo Corps recruit sent into dangerous sectors of space to salvage valuable cargo from containers filled with mutants. The character travels between the ship and the containers, fighting enemies with weapons and tools, including a platform drill and explosives, while working toward a promotion and a return home.
Cargo Commander generates levels procedurally, with a sector created from a chosen name. Environments are fully destructible, letting the player carve out routes, and the cargo collection includes more than 80 types. Career and Journey modes are available, alongside upgrades for weapons and tools and online leaderboards; containers may also hold the bodies of other players who failed to beat a score.
