Bureaucracy is an interactive fiction adventure scripted by Douglas Adams, about a cascade of bureaucratic hurdles following a change of address. Mail goes to the wrong place, bank accounts become inaccessible, and the seemingly simple task of retrieving misdirected letters turns into a series of complications.
The player navigates text-based situations involving impersonal corporations, counterintuitive airport procedures and bizarre characters. The game also tracks blood pressure: frustrating events raise it, while periods without annoyances lower it. Reaching a critical level ends the game.
