A platform game with beat ’em up elements, Bruce Lee follows the martial artist as he makes his way through a wizard’s tower in search of wealth and the secret of immortality. Each of the twenty chambers occupies a single screen filled with platforms and ladders. To advance, the player collects lanterns while fighting or avoiding the ninja and the sumo-styled warrior Yamo; later chambers add hazards such as mines and moving walls, and the final room pits Lee against the Fire Wizard.
Movement involves jumping, climbing and dodging attacks. In multiplayer, a second player can control Yamo or take turns controlling Bruce Lee with the first player. If the player controlling Yamo stays inactive, the computer takes over; enemies are vulnerable to chamber hazards but return after being defeated.
