This mech-action game is set in a world devastated by a war known as the Great Destruction. With countries and governments gone and humanity driven into underground cities, corporations begin fighting to reclaim the surface. The player takes the role of Raven, a mercenary piloting an Armored Core war machine and carrying out a variety of missions.
Before combat, players can build a mech by freely combining head, core, arm and leg parts with weapons. Armored Core began the series focused on mech combat and customisation.
