A music-based rhythm-action game about the American Idol competition, following a contestant from auditions through the heats to the grand finale. Players create and style a contestant, then guide them through each stage of the contest.
Performances call for keeping the rhythm and singing in tune; a poor showing can lead to elimination and criticism from the judges. The game features computer-generated versions of Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Simon Cowell.
